Our Team

A Little Note From Claudine...

I would like to claim a little corner of this website to shout loud about the team we have at our practice. They are an eclectic mix of very different personalities. We have a DIY fanatic, some fantastic cooks and a Center Parcs junkie. Everyone has the most amazing sense of humour and all can make me laugh on the greyest of days.

We have a staff ideas board and it’s constantly full of multi coloured post-its, the wildest, most off-the-wall suggestions, but they often actually work very well! The things everyone has in common are a consuming passion for dentistry, a drive to make our practice something special and a genuine empathy with people. They work hard and they are professional to the end. They are the most amazing people. I couldn’t open the doors in the morning without them.

She is hugely enthusiastic about improving the gum condition of our patient’s mouths, and she has many really useful tips to help you maintain a healthy mouth after she has finished your treatment.

When Naomi is not looking at teeth, she enjoys long walks in the countryside with her family, going to the gym, meals out with friends, and getting stuck into a good book!

Lorraine Laycock

Lorraine has worked in Dentistry for many years. She gained her NEBDN qualification in 2008, since then new avenues within dentistry opened up for her. The desire to help fellow nurses lead her to organising two CPD groups for Dental Nurses, one in Cirencester and one for nurses throughout Gloucestershire.

Now she has ventured into the world of Practice Management. In 2014 she embarked on two management courses and duly qualified. Her role at CGDP varies hugely if she’s not in the office, you may find her tinkering on reception or doing jobs around the practice.

In her spare time, Lorraine loves adventures in her campervan and having a go at anything D.I.Y. A bit of painting and decorating will keep her happy for hours.
