Fillings
Composite Filling
A composite filling uses a tooth coloured resin material to achieve a more natural looking result. They can also be known as white fillings, resin fillings or tooth-coloured fillings.
- Composite fillings chemically bond to the tooth structure, providing additional support and strength.
- The dentist removes the decayed or damaged part of the tooth, then applies the composite filling, which is then hardened with a special light.
